Nordic Centre
NordDRG, the Nordic casemix system, developed through cooperation by Nordic countries, is now widely used.In the future the Nordic casemix cooperation has to fulfill the needs of the participating countries in supporting casemix system development, in healthcare benchmarking and analyses to improve quality and efficiency, and in promoting knowledge and understanding about content and use of Nordic casemix systems to stakeholders at all levels of healthcare.
Main components of casemix cooperation are:
NordDRG definition tables
represented as a set of tables available in Excel and dBase® formats. A NordDRG grouper has to comply with the tables and the interpretation rules in the NordDRG Manual.
NordDRG Manual
documents the grouping rules of the NordDRG system. The manual consists of a set of HTML and other linked files containing the documentation of NordDRG.
NordDRG Forum is an edited open electronic discussion forum for questions about NordDRG and proposals for updates. The forum also contains documentation of changes made to the NordDRG system each year. The forum is freely available on NordDRG website.
